03 · Sports & Youth

On the pitch, young people learn who they can become.

Through the Impact Sports Academy and camps, we use football to build confidence, teamwork, discipline and leadership — and open pathways for talented young players.

Overview

The Impact Sports Academy began two years ago with 40 players and today works with 43. Young people aged 10 to 16 train in structured seasons, take part in a socio-emotional program, and stay connected with their families through regular contact. The academy’s methodology rests on three dimensions: building character, football skills, and future & hope.

Why it matters

For displaced young people, organized sport offers belonging, routine and positive role models. It is also a practical way to build the social and emotional skills that carry into school, work and family life.
