Who we are
Impact is an international nonprofit based in the United States. Our programs began in Egypt in 2023 and today reach people in Cairo, Alexandria, Aswan and Al-Minya — Egyptian families as well as refugees from Sudan, Syria, Palestine, Eritrea, Yemen and beyond. We connect skills, resources and partnerships to create measurable outcomes, and we are building partnerships to serve communities around the world.
What we do
Education, health, sport and economic empowerment reinforce each other — for individuals, families and whole communities.
Impact in action
How a four-day emotional-awareness camp helped 47 displaced students find words for what they feel.

“Now I know how to deal with my feelings when I am sad.”
Many children at the Sudanese Displaced Children’s Learning Centre arrived in Egypt carrying experiences they had no words for. Some were quiet, withdrawn and emotionally guarded.
With the support of UNICEF, Impact designed Mazaji — a four-day camp to help children recognize, name and differentiate their feelings, and to practise healthy ways of expressing and managing them. Conversations, creative activities, journaling, storytelling, sport and games created a safe space to learn, connect and simply be themselves.
47 students from the Sudanese Displaced Children’s Learning Centre, supported by Impact facilitators and volunteers.
Day by day, the walls came down. Students began talking about their feelings, sharing their experiences and finding words for emotions they had struggled to understand. Mazaji did not change everything in four days — but it opened a door to expression, connection and conversations that continue after the camp.
Impact is building on Mazaji through its socio-emotional learning work with educators and learning centres, so that emotional support becomes part of everyday school life.

Why Impact
What funders, companies and institutions can expect when they work with Impact.
Programs running in Cairo, Alexandria, Aswan and Al-Minya, delivered by local teams who know their communities.
Implementation experience with UNICEF, WFP, IOM and IECD, including structured reporting against agreed indicators.
Curricula built with employers, post-training follow-up, and a factory that turns skills into stable jobs.
Four pillars under one roof let partners address education, health, youth and livelihoods together.
Egyptian, Sudanese, Syrian, Palestinian, Eritrean, Yemeni and other communities — with women making up the majority of people served.
