Helping people find the support they need

A service-mapping and pathway tool for displaced communities in Alexandria, developed with UNICEF.

  1. 01

    The challenge

Palestinian, Syrian, Sudanese, Eritrean and other displaced families in Alexandria often do not know which health, psychosocial, protection and education services are available to them — or how to reach them.

  2. 02

    What Impact did

Impact began by listening, bringing together community leaders of different nationalities to hear about their needs, the services they rely on and the ways they find support.

  3. 03

    Who took part

More than 30 community leaders from different nationalities.

  4. 04

    What changed

These conversations built genuine relationships and shaped a tool designed from the communities’ own experience — so that individuals and families no longer have to search alone.

  5. 05

    What comes next

The Service Mapping and Pathway Tool is launching this year.
